Representatives from the Byrnes Mill Police Department, Jeffco 911 Dispatch, US Military, High Ridge Fire Protection District, Missouri State Highway Patrol, Northwest Jeffco Ambulance District, Comtrea, Spring Hills Presbyterian Church, and Point of Refuge Church were all present this year and helped make over 75 children's Christmas a little brighter at the Shop with a Hero shopping event, which was held on Wednesday, December 4th at the High Ridge Walmart.  Area children were able to go shopping with a first responder or two and pick out gifts for Christmas.  Volunteers from GoodFellas Moving Company then transported all the gifts to Point of Refuge church where they will be wrapped and ready to go for the Shop with a Hero banquet on December 16th.  A big thank you goes out to all those who donated their time and money.  Without you this program would not be possible.  Stay tuned for pictures and an update from the Shop with a Hero banquet.
