The EPA is hosting an Open House/Public Meeting on Thursday, January 23, 2020 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Hillsboro Community Civic Center (Jefferson County Fairgrounds) to address lead contamination throughout Jefferson County.  At the meeting, residents will have the opportunity to speak with representatives from the EPA in an open house format.  The EPA will also provide a site update presentation.  The public is welcome to attend any part of the two-hour window.  

In addition to the meeting the EPA is also asking residential property owners for access to conduct free lead contamination sampling.
